Windy Wines FestivalThe Windy City Wine Festival, located in Chicago at the Daley Bicentennial Plaza, provides an opportunity for attendees to sample six Wines of France between Friday, September 5th and Saturday, September 6th, 2008. While doing so, they can also learn about exciting varieties of wine that are new to them, directly from the experts, in a relaxed festival setting. During the 2007 edition, 8,500 wine-focused consumers attended the event. This year, Binny’s Beverage Depot plans to receive 9,000-10,000 consumers over the course of the festival. Chicago & Midwest Wine Show The national retail sponsor of the Chicago & Midwest Wine show is WineStyles, which has over 100 locations throughout the United States including about two dozen in the Chicago and Midwest area (Illinois). A huge selection of French wines will be presented during this big event.

The Chicago & Midwest Wine Show is a three-day event (September 27th to September 29th 2008) that brings the best in imported, domestic, and Midwest wines with hundreds of accessories to one place for the delight of thousands of individual wine lovers and members of the hospitality trade. The national retail sponsor is WineStyles which has over 100 locations throughout the United States including about two dozen in the Chicago and Midwest area (Illinois).

Show attendees will be voting on the “Best of Show” in domestic, imported and Midwest wines. The winners will receive special recognition and national publicity.

Some of the area’s finest restaurants will be passing out free samples of their renowned cuisine. In addition, free education sessions will run all three days and feature well-respected wine educators covering hot topics in the world of wine. Lastly, some of the finest area chefs will present interesting demonstrations and helpful kitchen tips.
